First 'Dancing with the Stars' couple finally announced

The moment you have been waiting for is finally here! This is because AmoMama is pleased to let you know that the first duo for “Dancing with the Stars” Season 27 has been announced.

On Wednesday morning “Good Morning America” confirmed that the first duo for the upcoming season of the show is Nancy McKeon and Val Chmerkovskiy.

McKeon, the “Facts of Life” actress who played Joanne “Jo” Polniaczek during the show’s nine seasons has been paired with Chmerkovskiy who is a pro dancer. Chmerkovskiy last won in 2016 with Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, and in 2015 he took home the Mirrorball Trophy with Rumer Willis.

At present although no other celebrities have been confirmed the entire lineup of pro dancers was revealed. Based on news received in April returning to the ballroom this season is Chmerkovskiy’s fiancée, Jenna Johnson. Johnson is the reigning champion from last season's special all-athletes event with Olympic skater Adam Rippon.

Others who will be returning are Lindsay Arnold, Alan Bersten, Sharna Burgess, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Keo Motsepe, Gleb Savchenko, and Emma Slater. As a pro for the first time will be Brandon Armstrong. Armstrong is from the show's troupe.

Fans will also be delighted to learn that Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba will be returning this season as the competition's judges. This means that there are a lot of good times to look forward to on "Dancing with the Stars".
