Cute video of granny visited by very special fluffy guest during hospital stay
A cat named Donny is said to be the reason for an unlikely recovery of an elderly woman. The Instagram clip of the cat's visit went viral on the social media platform.
The video was uploaded on September 7 and has garnered over 17,000 likes on Instagram. Donny and his 88-year-old human grandmother are featured in the adorable clip which is found below.
The older lady has been in the hospital for several months from since she was diagnosed with cancer. Due to her age, she was deemed unfit as a surgery candidate.

Instead, doctors opted for five radiation treatments and to later release her to a home hospice circumstance.
Unexpectedly, the treatment was so successful that doctors determined more radiation treatment would be done, 12 in total.
The woman was set to be released the following Monday. And the family chalked it all up to a surprise visit from the woman's long-time feline companion.
Another elderly lady specifically requested that she see her furball friend as her final request while she awaited her departure.
The woman's dying wish was to hold on to her ginger cat Oliver, and thankfully the hospital allowed the heartbreaking moment to happen.
The cat was said to be the woman's best friend. She wanted to see her "one last time to say goodbye" in her very final hours.
A photo of the event was posted to Imgur. The bittersweet time was solemnly shared with over 300,000 viewers.
