Courtney Hadwin, a 14-year old teen from County Durham, known in Britain after making it to the live finals of The Voice Kids last year.
On America’s Got Talent she was a favorite to win the competition singing classics by Tina Turner and James Brown.

Reportedly Courtney Hadwin signed a deal with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco.

She was the favorite to win this season of America’s Got Talent.
Holding her own during the live final she unleashed her powerful voice.
However, during the announcement of the top five, she pitted against Michael Ketterer but lost out on viewer votes.
Despite losing out on the prize money America’s Got Talent bosses announced that Courtney will join the series winner, Shin Lim at his residency in Las Vegas.
