'I'm not your friend,' little girl hilariously scolds father for eating her food in viral video
Everybody knows not to mess with a girl’s food, but for two-year-old Cali’s dad, he had to learn the hard way.
In a video that left the internet in stitches, Cali Amor Saunders from Kansas City enjoyed a plate of noodles while her dad sat by her side at the table.
The man, who filmed the entire exchange, was seen picking and eating noodle strands from Cali’s plate.
“Don’t do that,” Cali said nicely. At this point, she even obliged the “thieving” dad a smile. Cali repeated her mild warning when her father ate from her plate again, but the man did not get the memo.
He apparently had no idea how serious Cali was, so the toddler gave him a candid piece of her mind. As he was about to go in for another steal, Cali yelled “Don’t eat that!” complete with an eye-roll and stern face. She then pulled her plate closer, as though to say, “We’re done here, pal.”
The look on her dad’s face is epic as he finally gets Cali’s message. “At this point, she is fed up with me‼ (look at her face) I was in tears after this,” he captioned the cute video.
Cali’s attitude and her words that weren’t quite fully formed made the clip so hilarious. Uploaded on September 5, it has already been viewed more than 100,000 times.
Internet users were divided over whether Cali said "I'm not even finished eating" or "I'm not your friend either," but her father confirmed to Fox 5 that his daughter indeed ended their friendship. He was quick to add, however, that all is now forgiven and Cali is her daddy’s princess again.
ANOTHER DISOBEDIENT DAD
We sure hope Cali’s dad learned his lesson. It can be pretty frustrating trying to get a grown man to do what he should, and just like Cali, Bradlee Rae Hayes had a similar experience.
In a viral YouTube clip that was posted exactly two years ago before Cali’s, Bradlee, 3, scolded her disobedient father who forgot to put the toilet seat down yet again. The adorable Texas toddler could be heard saying:
“How many times do I have to tell you when you put the seat up and I tell you to put it down for me? Why do you keep doing that?”
Her gestures indicate she’s fed up of her dad, Jeremiah’s bad habit, and when he tried to justify his actions by telling Bradlee “you just got to put it down,” the boss lady let him have it.
“But I don’t want to, she stressed. “I just want you to do it when you’re there for you.”
To further drive home her point, she schooled the grown man some more:
“Daddy, listen to me, when you’re done with the potty, you gotta put it down when big girl come in and need go [toilet]. So you’re got to put it down for girls.”
An enlightened Jeremiah who hopefully will take Bradlee’s advice then said:
“Okay, thank you for letting me know.”
After the video went viral, Jeremiah spoke to a media outlet about Bradlee, revealing that’s not the first time he’s gotten a lecture from her.
“This is her down to a T,” he offered. “She is always letting me know when I am slacking. If I am not doing my job as a dad properly, she isn't afraid to let me know. Especially when it comes to putting the toilet seat down.”
Heads up, dads! You need to listen better.
