Who is Prince Louis?
Prince Louis of Cambridge is the third and youngest child of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. Currently, he sits at fifth in the line of succession to the British throne.
Early life:
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their son, Prince Louis, into the world on April 23, 2018. He made his first public appearance outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, seven hours after his birth. He was named Louis Arthur Charles to honor his paternal great-great-great uncle Lord Mountbatten, and his paternal grandfather, the Prince of Wales. His name was announced publicly on April 27, 2018.

Prince Louis was baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace on July 9, 2018. The customary use of water from the River Jordan as tradition states was adhered to and his godparents include Nicholas van Cutsem, Guy Pelly, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, Lady Laura Meade, Hannah Gillingham Carter, and Lucy Middleton.
His christening gown is the same replica made in 2008, of the dress made for Queen Victoria’s first child in 1841, that has been used for all the royal christenings since it was made.
