Bar goer charmed audience with magnificent performance of legendary country song
A man named Phil stunned the crowd with his incredible performance of Chris Stapleton's iconic song.
Phil went to a local bar called Rudy’s Tavern in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania recently. He was enjoying his drink with his friends when his favorite song “Tennessee Whiskey” began playing.
The man could not stop himself from singing along the lines of the melody, and, in the process, impressed other bar-goers including a guy named Sean McCracken.

McCracken decided to film Phil and immediately shared the video to his Facebook friends.
Soon enough, the talented man won over the netizen's hearts and quickly became a viral sensation.
"This guy, Phil, and a couple of his friends came into Rudy’s Tavern last night… and well, he did this… awesome!" McCracken wrote in his post.
Apparently, he was so amazed by Phil’s singing ability that he deemed it fit to share his talent with the world.
Since the footage was uploaded a month ago, it has been viewed over 220,000 times. It amassed more than 1,900 reactions and more than 2,200 shares. A lot of people have also taken the time to praise his talent in the comments section.
One Facebook user wrote, "Sounds good just think what he would sound like if he was actually trying."
"I love this song and he needs to be singing on stage his very good," another user added.
"This man needs to be on The Voice. He’s awesome," commented another user.
The song, “Tennessee Whiskey," was written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove. Country music artist David Allan Coe originally recorded it.
The hit tune has been covered by several artists, including Stapleton, who has garnered credits writing and co-writing over 170 songs as of 2018.
The 40-year-old singer performed his version of the song with Justin Timberlake at the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards in 2015.
Meanwhile, just like Phil, a bartender from Las Vegas named Amanda Avila has also gone viral after a video of her singing “Crazy” by Patsy Cline was shared on Facebook.
One of the bar-goers, named Ash Pugh, was enchanted by Avila's powerful singing voice, so she decided to film her.
"Why is she my bartender and not singing on the big stage?" Pugh wrote.
The video quickly went viral with more than 44,000 views since it was uploaded on Facebook.
