Jordin Sparks & her husband are all smiles, showering their son with love in adorable video

Jordin Sparks recently took to Instagram to share an adorable clip with her husband and their five-month-old son, and the love the little family radiates can be felt through the screen. The singer and actress recently opened up about the special prayers she does for her son.

Danah Isaiah Jr., or DJ for short, came into this world on May 2 through an all-natural birth. Since then, he has become the center of his parents’ lives and social media accounts. Both Jordin Sparks and Danah Isaiah are whipped for their little boy, and looking at their clips and pics of the boy is easy to understand why.

A LOVELY FAMILY PORTRAIT

DJ is a happy baby boy with bright blue eyes and a contagious smile, and in a recent clip shared by Sparks on Instagram, he melted hearts all over social media.

The video shows Jordin, rocking a red football jersey, holding little DJ in her arms while standing in front of a mirror. Danah, who donned a black t-shirt, is behind them. Sparks starts recording with her phone as the baby boy becomes aware of his reflection, trying to touch it while his father begins to nibble all over his back playfully.

“Is that you? Handsome,” says Sparks, as little DJ starts giggling because of his father’s ministrations. “is that ticklish?” the singer asks, as the baby keeps laughing and his father plants a final kiss on his back.

“His laugh is everything. He is so full of JOY! I love my little family,” she captioned the clip.

Fans immediately flocked her comment section to share their thoughts on the adorable video, which shows just how much Spark’s “little family” love each other. One user wrote “I needed that today! So nice to see a lovely family being silly!!!” and another added, “U guys are beautiful, but the baby is a masterpiece. Congratulation and wish your family all the best. Kisses from Italy,” and a third one said “What a beautiful baby boy and his EYES. ABSOLUTELY gorgeous eyes!!!"

DJ'S BIRTH STRENGTHENED JORDIN'S FAITH

In a recent interview with the Christian Post, Jordin revealed that after the birth of her son, her faith in Jesus Christ had been strengthened. The love she feels for her son, she says, is like nothing she has ever felt before, and she can only compare the feeling to a heavenly one.

“I wasn't prepared for the level of love I felt and the feelings that I never could've imagined before. I just look at DJ and I smile, and I just want to cry because he's so incredible,” she said.

The “American Idol” winner also shared that every time she rocks her son to sleep, she makes a special string of prayers over him. She said:

“Every time I rock him to sleep, I start drifting into prayer over the choices he makes, the people he meets, and everything that's going to happen in his life. I pray, 'Lord, let him be strong when he needs to be, let him be kind in certain moments, let him be soft in certain moments, let him be compassionate, let him be passionate about other things and other people.'"

Sparks and Isaiah are aware that they have to be good examples for their son, and they’re working hard to be the best parents and human beings for him. It helps that after he was born, their relationship just became a lot better.
