Eugenie and Harry’s wedding photos have one ‘sad’ difference that says a lot about the royal family
On Friday, Princess Eugenie married longtime boyfriend Jack Brooksbank. By Tuesday, she’d released five official wedding portraits.
A body language expert analyzed Eugenie’s images and compared them to Duchess Meghan’s. The Duchess married Prince Harry in May.
Both Princess Eugenie’s wedding and Duchess Meghan’s occurred at the same chapel in Windsor Castle. Judi James, a body language expert who frequently writes for Mirror Online, compared the similarities in their wedding images.
James pointed out that both couples stood in the centre of their families. She said they both looked "radiant and happy."

She noticed that the spacing between the couples and their relatives was different. For Harry and Meghan's portrait with their families, everyone was placed tightly together.
Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, stood so close by her side that they were even touching. On Harry’s side, his father Prince Charles also stood close to him alongside wife Camilla.
The Queen and Prince Philip were seated on chairs in front of them. In Eugenie’s portrait, there is an enormous gap between the bride and her parents, Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson and Prince Andrew.
Her sister, Princess Beatrice, stood with a lot of empty space next to her. On the other hand, Brooksbank is seen standing close to his mother, father and brother.
James said:
"Sadly Eugenie's mother Sarah was put at the outer edge of the line-up, with Beatrice filling the huge gap between mother, father and daughter. The distance between Eugenie and her parents means her father is at the very far end of the line-up, which makes Eugenie's closest family members look rather distant.”
Speculation is that Ferguson was moved to the far right of the photo because of her history with the Royal family. She caused one of the family's biggest scandals in 1992 when she was photographed getting her toes sucked by her “financial advisor” just months after her divorce from Prince Andrew.
Since then, she and Prince Philip have never gotten along. Eugenie’s wedding was actually the first time the two have been photographed together in years.
As a “thank you” for the support of her wedding, Eugenie took to Instagram with a lovely note.
She wrote:
"Jack and I would like to thank everyone who was involved in making our day so special and for all the wonderful wishes, as we start married life laughing together.”
Accompanying the post was a picture that showed her and Brooksbank laughing with their bridesmaids and page boys. It appears they’ve truly started off their marriage by “laughing together.”
