On October 17, country music legend Alan Jackson celebrated his 60th birthday. His official Instagram page celebrated the day in a special way.

An old black and white photo of the star was posted along with a much more recent one. In the caption, the star asked for birthday wishes to be posted in the comments section.

Alan Eugene Jackson is a country star who was born on October 17, 1958. His parents were Joseph Jackson and Ruth Musick Jackson.

The singer is a Newnan, Georgia native who started off his country music career in the late 1980s. The musician has since recorded 16 studio albums.
