Ten-year-old Collie Cash Rule owned the stage when he shredded in front of thousands of people during the band’s concert in Kansas City, Missouri.

When Grohl asked the kid what kinds of songs he plays, he courageously answered that he knows a lot of Metallica songs.

Grohl was speechless and threw his hands in the air when Collier started expertly playing “Enter Sandman.”

He didn’t even seem bothered that the kid was not playing one of their songs. Grabbing the microphone, Grohl sang the verse and the chorus of the classic Metallica hit.

As for Collier, it was as if he was born to be on stage as he walked around while he played, much like a real rock star.

After the chorus, Grohl exclaimed, "That's all we know! He knows more than we do!"

After playing “Enter Sandman,” the boy also played bits of Metallica’s "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" and "Wherever I May Roam."

Afterward, Grohl told Collier that it was “awesome.” He then pointed to the blue guitar and asked the boy, “You wanna keep that?”

Collier must have been very overwhelmed as he reached out and hugged Grohl.

Speaking with Inside Edition, the ten-year-old said, "It was really exciting. Most musicians probably wouldn't do that."

Collier went to the concert with his mother, Jennifer Dlugolecki, and a friend.

As for Jennifer, she said she wasn’t surprised that her son was invited on stage.

She recalled, "I could see Dave Grohl mouthing to someone 'Oh, you wanna play?' and I was like 'Oh, I bet that's my kid he's talking to.'''

Jennifer explained that her son is playing guitar all the time.

She went on saying, "Six in the morning, six at night. We practice a couple of hours a day. Sometimes with the amp plugged in, which is, you know, awesome at 6 a.m."

The Foo Fighters were amazed by Collier’s talent that they uploaded the video of his performance. Needless to say, it quickly became viral.

Apart from Grohl, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler also invited someone on stage. His name was Anthony Yorfido, a 24-year-old man with Down Syndrome.

When he learned that his favorite rock star was performing in Ontario, he was over the moon. Although, he was disappointed when he found out that the tickets had been sold out.

When Tyler learned about him, he made arrangements and got Yorfido, and his mother backstage passes. As if that wasn’t enough, Tyler also invited Yorfido on stage.
