Yellin sort of tricked her followers into reading a list of 'recommended congressional candidates' made by Schumer, which had 'I'm pregnant - Amy Schumer' as the last option.

It must have been very exciting for the comedian to finally let the world know that she is expecting a child, especially after all the rumors that hit the press over the past eight months.

THE WEDDING

NOTHING BUT SMOKE

Schumer and Fischer decided to get married after just a few months of dating, and, at the time, people speculated that a pregnancy might have been the reason behind the rushed ceremony.

This led the 37-year-old beauty to take to her Instagram page to clarify that she was not pregnant and that it wouldn't be necessary to send them wedding gifts.

A NOBLE REQUEST

Instead, Schumer kindly asked people to consider making a donation towards gun safety, and sent 'love to everyone who has been affected by gun violence.'

Gun violence is one of the biggest issues in America nowadays, and there is still quite a lot of debate on whether there should be a better gun control or not.

Back in June, 21 people were shot in Chicago just one day after the city was praised for its 15th month of declining killings and shootings. proving that there is still a long way to go when it comes to the controversial subject.
