Woman charged after trashing Planet Fitness & attacking gym employee in viral video
An enraged woman was caught on camera trashing Planet Fitness and attacking the gym receptionist. You can find the video below.
It was not business as usual on June 12 for a Planet Fitness in Grand Rapids, Michigan. One woman became confrontational because of an argument over Tootsie Rolls; she lost her temper and went on a destructive spree at around 1:30 am.
In a social media clip that has since gone viral, the 20-year-old woman is seen reaching for computer monitors and phones and throwing them to the ground. She mindlessly pulls computers from behind the front desk and rips them apart, not minding the folks watching.
“You wanna touch me?” she repeatedly asks before saying she’s pregnant and firing off swear words. She grabs a purple bucket and hurls it in the lobby while bystanders filmed on their phones.
At some point, she seemed to leave the gym, only for her to return and cause even more trouble, this time facing the receptionist squarely.
The young man behind the front desk tries talking to her politely, but she responds by yelling and calling him unprintable names. She throws the candy on the counter to the floor and threatens to kill the receptionist.
Soon, she gets physical, hurling different items, including the front desk computer, at him. The receptionist tries to get away from her, but she follows swiftly, throwing punches and threatening him at the same time.
So blinded is the troublemaker in her rage that she trips and falls while trying to hit the receptionist. Other people in the building attempt to restrain her, but she’s out of control. It was also good that the altercation was filmed because while leaving, she could be heard yelling:
“He hit me. Everybody saw that he hit me. Lost your job!”
The violent woman was arrested by Grand Rapids Police and has since been charged with malicious destruction of property, WNEP reports. The receptionist chose not to press charges.

In a similar incident, two teenagers were filmed as they attacked a McDonald’s manager at the restaurant’s branch in Boston, Lincolnshire.
The staff asked the two intoxicated boys to leave after they locked up another employee in a cupboard. They then pounced on him and started to beat him up. The altercation occurred in August and went viral in no time.
