Mary J. Blige flaunts curves in Versace suit and rocks curly blonde hair in recent pic
Mary J. Blige is proving that her beauty is timeless in a recent Instagram pic after she gave an incredible performance at the T.J. Martell Foundation’s annual gala in New York. The singer is also facing a lawsuit for “trashing” the mansion where she used to live.
Mary J. Blige turned 47 this year, but she’s looking at least ten years younger in a recent photo posted to her Instagram from her participation in the 43rd Annual New York Honors Gala hosted by the T.J Martell Foundation last week.
In the pic, the singer is donning a fierce Versace outfit consisting of high waisted pants, a ponty shoulder jacket and a crop top that put her cleavage and midriff on display. Blige styled her blonde hair in curly locks that framed her face and kept her make-up on point with a natural look.
Fans immediately took over the diva’s comment section to gush about her looks. One user wrote “And THIS how you glow up!! looking 25 yrs old and What’s the 41ish,” another added, “You my sweet Mary and Versace are a match made in heaven! You look so very beautiful!!!!” and a third one said, “Love this outfit you are killing the game.”
According to the T.J Martell Foundation’s Instagram account, Jeffrey Harleston, Universal Music Group's General Counsel, and Executive Vice President was the big honoree of the night, receiving the Lifetime Music Industry Award and a few kind words from Blige before she hit the stage to delight the audience with her voice.
This performance comes in the middle of some legal troubles for the Grammy Award winner, who is being sued by her former landlord, according to documents obtained by The Blast.
BLIGE AND EX-HUSBAND OWE $58K IN RENT AND DAMAGES
According to Golden Venus LLC., the company rented Mary J. and her ex-husband Kendu Isaacs a mansion in May 2015. They agreed to pay a monthly rent of $25,500 and put down a $51,000 security deposit.
A year later, the couple and the company agreed on an extension of the lease increasing the rent to $27,000 per month. However, the couple split late in the same year after Blige found Isaacs was cheating on her.

They failed to pay their rent from August to November, and when Golden Venus gave them the notice to pay up or vacate the place, the couple agreed with the company. They would pay $27,000 and quit to the security deposit to call it even.
However, the couple never paid the $27,000, and after further inspection, the company discovered $16,058.78 in damages to the home. From holes in the walls to repairs on several home appliances and the garage door.
The company also claims that at least $31,052.52 in A/V equipment was removed from the home.
Neither Blige or Isaacs have addressed the legal suit.
The former couple ended their divorce back in June, after an ugly divorce battle that lasted almost a year.
