Kate Hudson's daughter turns 1-month-old, and fans love her adorable photo in a fancy turban
In May 2017, actress Kate Hudson and musician Danny Fujikawa made their official red carpet debut as a couple. This year on October 2, they welcomed their first child together, Rani Rose.
The photo of Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa on social media showed her wearing a cute pink turban while lying on a pink blanket. The baby girl was staring right into the camera as if she was posing.
A note written “One Month” was placed next to her. Pink seems to be a theme for Rani’s mother, Kate Hudson, 39.
“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.”
Hudson further added:
“Everyone is doing well and happy as can be. Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back."
This is the first child for musician Danny Fujikawa, 32, but the third one for Hudson. The actress shares son Ryder, 14, with Chris Robinson.
She also has another son and Bingham, 7, with Matt Bellamy. The star announced her recent pregnancy in April in an Instagram video.
On Sunday, Fujikawa’s stepsister, Sara Foster, revealed that the couple was done having children. At the A Time for Heroes event in Los Angeles Foster stated that “Kate completed the family.”
The couple has been friends for 15 years after meeting through Foster and her sister Erin Foster. In 2017, they made their official red carpet debut as a couple.
Three weeks after welcoming baby Rani, Hudson signed up to star in a new movie called “Blood Moon.” She will appear alongside Craig Robinson and Zac Efron.
The writer and director is Ana Lily Amirphour.
