Beyoncé's mom, Tina Lawson, channels her inner Foxy Brown for Halloween
Tina Lawson is one cool mom - and she proved that this Halloween season by dressing it up and partying with her daughters on the special holiday.
Last Wednesday during Halloween night, Tina Knowles partied it up with her daughters and their friends. The 64-year-old attended the Boo Bash Halloween party, dressed up like Foxy Brown donning a tan catsuit with a deep keyhole cut on the chest.
She danced alongside her daughter, Beyonce, who dressed up as legendary Olympic track and field star Florence Griffith Joyner, in a custom-made pink bodysuit just as Florence once did when she made world records in the 100-meter and 200-meter sprints. Up until today, Joyner's records remain unbeaten, which makes her the fastest woman in the world. Unfortunately, she passed away at 38-years-old back in 1998 due to an epileptic seizure.
The lovely mother-and-daughter duo beamed with joy as they danced with one another, clearly making the most out of each other's company.
Meanwhile, her other daughter, Solange, also looked stunning as the '90s icon Kate Moss, in a sparkling asymmetrical ensemble that featured black hotpants, dangling earrings, and a top hat.
Beyonce's other half, who also partied it up with her and the rest of her family, paid respects to another icon in the sporting world, particularly Tommie Smith. Tommie is known for his iconic "Black Power Salute", which was a symbolic protest he did alongside John Carlos to denounce racism in the United States at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City.
Tommie, at 24-years-old, won the gold medal at the Summer Olympics and used his platform to protest racism and injustice, which at the time, caused a significant backlash.
However, in the end, all is well and they still continue to be the iconic legends that they are - and Beyonce and Jay-Z felt the need to remind the world of their greatness.
