Josh Brolin and wife welcome first child together – share an adorable video of newborn daughter

On Sunday, actor Josh Brolin and took to Instagram to introduce his baby girl. Brolin revealed that his daughter was named Westlyn Reign Brolin.

The actor had the child with entrepreneur Kathryn Boyd. He also thanked all those who’d supported and wished them well.

Josh Brolin’s Instagram video showed baby Westlyn Reign Brolin napping and making cute faces. At one point, the little girl was seen sticking out her adorable little tongue as she napped.

Brolin, 50, captioned the clip:

“Dearest Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce our little girl Westlyn Reign Brolin (Bean),” he wrote of a video showing the newborn sound asleep. “Mama Kathryn was stellar during this miracle birth and Bean is a flawless gem through and through. We are blessed to the core and appreciate so much the love and support during this pregnancy from ALL who have partaken in our journey, directly and/or indirectly #beanlove #dogtown.”

The actor has two other children Eden, 24, and Trevor, 30. The children are from his first marriage to actress Alice Adair.

Brolin was also married to actress Diane Lane, but they never had any children together. The pair stayed married until 2013.

Boyd, who is 5’11”, is the owner of the brand Midheaven Denim which is a line of jeans for taller women. She’s also a model and was Brolin’s personal assistant before the two got engaged in 2015.

The pair got married in 2016. Brolin announced his and Boyd’s pregnancy via Instagram in May:

“There’s a new sheriff in town and she’s no bigger than a sweet potato. Hang on to your hats.”

Little Westlyn’s step-grandmother is Barbra Streisand, 76. She has been married to fellow actor James Brolin, 78, since 1998.

Josh James Brolin was born on February 12, 1968. His first acting role was in the 1985 movie “The Goonies” and since then he’s starred in many more.
