Kim Kardashian shows off her husband's softer side, sharing photo of him & daughter Chicago
Amid the chaos caused by the wildfires near their California home, the Kardashian West family is focusing on what really matters: their family. Kim took to Instagram to share an adorable pic of her husband and their youngest child, melting hearts all over social media.
There’s no doubt that when it comes to his kids, Kanye West is a total softy. The man looks in heaven in a recent shared by Kim K. on Instagram, kissing 9-months-old Chicago’s head while the baby girl stares to the side away from the camera.
In the pic, father and daughter are wearing white t-shirts, but Little Chi, as her parents call her, is also rocking a grey bib. Kim captioned the photo with a simple smiling emoji, proving that no words can describe the happiness of watching her husband bond with their kids.
The couple are also parents to daughter North, 5, and son Saint, 2.
In the past months, West has been involved in one controversy after another, first for his political statements, his support of President Trump, his erratic behavior on social media and the constant delay of his upcoming album.
Watching the rapper in a calm state while spending time with his family, certainly gave fans an inside look to the rawest and personal side of the “No Church in the Wild" rapper.
A DISTRACTION FROM THE WILDFIRES
Kanye, Kim and their family are among the thousands of people who had to evacuate their homes because of the roaring wildfire that destroyed several towns in Northern California, including the houses of celebrities like Lady Gaga, Gerard Butler, Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke and more.
Kim shared on Sunday that after arriving from a trip, she had only one hour to gather her things and evacuate alongside her kids. The reality star shared a pic with her niece True Thompson later that day, stating “We are all safe and that's all that matters.”
However, TMZ reported that Kanye and Kim hired a team of private firefighters to save their homes and, consequentially, their neighbors’ homes.
The couple’s Hidden Hills mansion “sits at the end of a cul-de-sac and borders a field,” meaning, that if their house caught fire, it would inevitably spread to the rest of the neighborhood. As of now, the $60 million home is safe.
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM KIM
Last Sunday, Kim and her sisters Khloé, Kourtney and Kendall attended the E! People’s Choice Awards to receive the award to the best reality show. On her acceptance speech, Kim focused on the fires and the shootings that have been plaguing the country, encouraging people to stand together against devastation.
She said:
“Our hearts are broken from the horrific shootings and those who have lost their lives and homes, as well as the hundreds of thousands of us that have been evacuated from the devastating fires that are currently burning.”
And concluded:
“Our country is stronger when we come together, and we cannot face devastation alone. We must continue to reach out and help each other in these trying times.”
