'Scrubs' actors reunite for the first time in 8 years as Zach Braff teases ‘Season 10’
Fans of the hit show “Scrubs” were left feeling nostalgic when the cast reunited with a photo. It’s been 8 years since the cast members were photographed together.
The actors were attending the Vulture Festival on Saturday night. Zach Braff got fans excited when he also posted an image that hinted that there might be a season 10 in the future.
“Scrubs” had its ninth season in 2010. Fans would remember J.D. – played by Zach Braff, Elliot – played by Sarah Chalke, and Turk - played by Donald Faison.
For the first time since the show ended, the cast members were pictured together. Braff shared the image on Instagram and it included the creator of the show, Bill Lawrence.

Also in attendance was Jordan Sullivan – played by Christa Miller, Janitor- played by Neil Flynn, Bob Kelso – played by Ken Jenkins, Carla Espinosa - played by Judy Reyes, and Perry – played by John C. McGinley.
During a Q&A session with the cast Lawrence opened up about creating a 10th season:
“I would do anything to not only get to work with not only this group, but the writers, and do it again.”
However, this didn’t seem to be on the books as Lawrence remarked that some reboots just “feel like a money grab.” That didn’t mean the group would never reunite again onscreen.
Lawrence hinted that “If we ever do it, we’ll do it as a short little movie or something else.” A post that Braff shared online simply said, “Season 10?”
His post made fans even more nostalgic. In May, the actor addressed the idea of a “Scrubs” reunion during an appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Cordon.”
There he also revealed that he might be interested “if it was a TV movie.”
Now that the show is fresh on our minds, we’ve found 15 fun facts about the series. Here’s a teaser: Sacred Heart Hospital is a real abandoned hospital.
