Diana Ross looks amazing in glimmering white gown and fur coat at Thanksgiving Parade
Diana Ross rocked out at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The disco queen stunned the crowd in a gorgeous white gown.
New York City's temperature plunged to below twenty degrees. The frigid weather didn't stop the huge crowd that gathered at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Nor did it stop 74-year old Diana Ross from taking the stage. Her soulful vocals seemed to warm up the freezing crowds.
While her performance of “Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time” on top of the Hallmark Channel’s Heartwarming Holiday Countdown float wowed the crowds her outfit really stunned onlookers.
She wore a stunning flowy gown with a huge white fur coat to shield her from the cold. She looked radiant
The gorgeous white gown looked snow queen inspired. It was adorned with a silver belt with charms hanging from the belt.
The dress was made with a unique fabric that had thin silver threads weaved into it. It was also beaded with silver.
Diana wore minimal other accessories. She wore a pair of silver earrings and white gloves.
The outfit was completed with a large white fur coat and allowing the dress to speak for itself. She wore her hair in her signature big curled afro and kept her makeup simple.
The performance from Diana was extra touching. Her family, Rhonda, Tracee Ellis ( with whom Ross had posed for a gorgeous selfie earlier this year), Chudney, Ross, and Evan with wife Ashlee Simpson-Ross joined her on the float to add the perfect personal feeling to the performance.
Fans were blown away with Diana's powerful vocals. She proved she still has the same powerful vocals that helped ber bag her Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
"She should be honored with another trophy for not cutting her vocal cords slack during what was NYC’s coldest Thanksgiving Day since 1901," wrote The New York Times.
A slew of musicians also performed at the event including Kelly Clarkson, Anika Noni Rose, and John Legend. The parade consisted of 26 floats in total.
This parade is not Diana's first Macy's Parade. In 1979, she performed at the 53rd Annual Macys Thanksgiving Parade.
