Miley Cyrus shares rare childhood pic to show that she’s the same girl but with a shorter skirt

The iconic pop artist shared an adorable throwback photograph of herself, putting it side-by-side with her current grown-up self.

Now a 26-year-old musical sensation, Miley Cyrus, tweeted an old image of herself donning a stylish dress that is surprisingly similar to the one she wore in a more recent time.

She put up two photographs, in which she can be seen wearing her signature garment with a black turtleneck.

Cyrus also has her hair color done much lighter than in the photograph of her younger self. She captioned her tweet with a teasing statement, “Same girl. Shorter skirts.”

Her photos have thus far been retweeted more than 50,000 times and received around 500,000 likes, making it go viral on social media.

The singer also recently spoke about the devastating loss she suffered when the home she shares with Liam Hemsworth was destroyed in the Woolsey wildfires.

She told on the show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, “Honestly, I’m in a really good kind of healing place right now.”

“My dad has always told me, 'Life is a series of adjustments.' Sometimes we never understand what our parents are telling us until we start to experience life more because they learn those things as they go,' she said. 'So I'm starting to really understand what that means now.”

The singer also admitted that one cannot control the natural disaster so the only viable thing to do was to use the experience to learn and grow.

Cyrus and Hemsworth have also donated $500,000 to a fund that is working on rebuilding the Malibu community affected by the fire.

Meanwhile, the star’s two-story home was estimated at around $2.25 million. It featured four bedrooms and three bathrooms including an outdoor gazebo, patio, fountains, and spa.

Cyrus is one of the most popular music artists of the recent times, who is also famous for her bold and stylish sense of fashion.

She recently collaborated with another popular artist, Mark Ronson, who was full of praise for the singer.

Ronson admitted that he shares a great chemistry with Cyrus before stating that she was “one of the greatest voices” he has ever recorded.
