Kim & Kanye West melt hearts with first family portrait in months at Saint's birthday party

Kim Kardashian shares a series of rare family portraits during her son's Tarzan-themed birthday party.

We’ve always been aware of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s brood but it’s the first time in a very long while we’re actually seeing the family of five in one photo, thanks to a special occasion they recently celebrated.

THE WILD WESTS

The Wests were all decked out for the birthday of middle child Saint who just turned three. The Tarzan-themed bash was a big spectacle with a jungle vibe and lots of treats. Saint shared the limelight with his cousin Reign, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s daughter, who also turns 4 on December 14. Their joint party held at Kim's home saw matching cakes and even limited-edition shirts produced for the event.

PICTURE PERFECT

More importantly, the event gave way to a rare family portrait that drew attention to Kim’s Instagram page. She posted a slideshow of their family of five at the party and it’s amazing how their kids have grown. In the pic, the parents are flanked by older daughter North, 5, and youngest daughter Chicago, 11 months, along with the birthday boy dressed in what appeared to be fatigues. Kim and Kanye matched each other in black while North wore a sparkly green ensemble with a cropped top and matching pants. Little Chicago stood out in white.

The slideshow featured four photos capturing candid moments of the family trying to take the perfect snap. It made for a more interesting set of portraits, we would think.

KIM'S REACTION TO KANYE'S TMZ CONTROVERSY REVEALED

The family photos come in the heels of a recent episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” that finally shed light on how Kim reacted to Kanye’s controversial comments on TMZ a few months back. According to Kim in the show, she cried when she saw the TMZ clip but realized Kanye wasn’t at all bothered.

“When he gets ramped up, he can’t control what he says. He can’t let it go But he loves getting ramped up. As a wife, it’s frustrating to see the media take everything and run with it.”

FLIGHT TROUBLE

Kim and Kanye aren’t new to controversies, often being slammed for one thing or another. More recently, they were dragged for using a Boeing 747 plane privately with only her immediate family and a few staff members. Fans slammed the couple for the extravagance as well as the waste their flight made citing the amount of carbon footprint it left for such a small number of passengers. The plane is designed to carry at least 660 people. Kim later revealed the plane was rented for them by “Team Adidas” though, at that point, it didn’t really make any difference.
