Quincy Brown celebrates late mother Kim Porter's birthday with touching tribute in new post

Quincy Brown, one of the children that Kim Porter had, uploaded a photo on his Instagram account to honor and remember his late mother on her birthday.

In the image, the singer and actor appeared wearing a black shirt and a matching hat with his eyes closed while Kim, also wearing a black ensemble and with her eyes closed, was hugging him in the cutest way.

One of the aspects that attracted more attention was the slight smile on their faces. In the caption, Quincy set clear that he celebrates his mother every day and that he would honor her for eternity.

PEOPLE’S REACTION

“I miss you and love you more than anyone can imagine. Happy Birthday, Mommy,” wrote the 27-year-old man followed by the hashtag “Kim Porter’s Day.”

As soon as he uploaded that pic, his follower took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

“didn’t know her but always admired her “living her life”, beauty, style, etc....God bless [sic],” wrote one follower.

“Oh baby that's so sweet I wish u the best in life honey so keep Your head up high and let no one take nothing from you baby [sic],” pointed out a second user.

“Beautiful picture of a beautiful memory” added another one.

DIDDY’S TRIBUTE

Quincy was not the only celebrity who shared a photo on December 15, when Kim would have turned 48.

Her ex-boyfriend and father of most of her children Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, took to Instagram to share a couple of post of Kim.

One of them was the photo of a colorful drawing that showed Kim in what the artist considered was Heaven. She had wings and a halo while a couple of angels were around her.

After that, he uploaded a video recorded about 11 years ago when the couple was still together and expecting twins D’Lila and Jesse.

Diddy posted another image showing Kim with Quincy, and a fourth one portraying the “love of his life” posing with the twins in her arms.

Christian Combs, the twins’ brother, also took to Instagram to share his tribute showing Kim kissing him on the cheek while holding flowers.

In the caption, he wrote: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY I LOVE you so much MISS you so much!! And Wish you was here for me to give you a Big Hug And kiss! [sic].”

DIDDY’S REQUEST FOR HELP

Kim was found dead in her Toluca Lake, California home on November 15. The cause of death remains unknown as it “was deferred pending additional tests.”

She passed at the age of 47. Almost a month after her passing, Diddy took to Instagram to ask for help.

The 49-year-old rapper shared a text-based image that read: “You’re about to be happier than you’ve ever been.”

In the caption, however, he probably shared how he has been feeling lately.

“HELP ME. HELP ME. GOD PLS HELP ME!!! PLEASE PRAY FOR ME CAUSE MONEY CAN’T STOP THE PAIN!!! ONLY YOU CAN GOD. ONLY PRAYER CAN HELP ME GOD PLS HELP US!!! IF I DIDN’T NEED THE PRAYERS I WOULDN’T ASK,” wrote Diddy.
