After the royal wedding, Meghan reportedly took her solo trip to the States and Canada in August, but look forward to making their first trip as a family back to her home country.

No particular details of the trip are available yet, including the cities they plan on visiting. However, a palace insider said cities like New York, Washington. D.C. and California are all places the couple is thinking of visiting.

But now the Royals are getting ready for Christmas which is only a week away. Initially, it was thought that Meghan’s mum, Doria Ragland would join the festivities at Sandringham.

However, 62-year-old Doria politely declined the Queen’s invitation and opted to spend Christmas in California instead. Prince Harry and Meghan will spend Christmas with the rest of the royals at Sandringham, where they look forward to spending some quality time for Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and little Prince Louis.

On December 14, the Kensington Palace posted an image of Meghan and Prince Harry’s first Christmas card as a royal couple. The card shows a beautiful picture of Meghan wearing her second wedding dress and Prince Harry, as the couple gazed up at a magnificent fireworks display over a lake.

Meghan’s sister, Samantha didn’t waste time to state her opinion regarding the royal couple’s first Christmas Card as she wrote on Twitter:

"Interesting that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have their backs turned. Is this towards the world or just the Ragland and Markle family? It’s a bit sad. Face the Christmas spirit."

While some others were also not too happy about their choice for a Christmas card, Meghan got tons of support from royal fans focusing on other aspects of the image.
