The "View" co-host wasted no time as she posted three pictures of granddaughter Skylar Rose on Wednesday. The photos are found below.

One of them featured daughter Chelsea holding Skylar as her boyfriend Jacob Bourassa bent down next to them.

The last photo was of the actress holding Skylar, eyes shut, and wearing a toothy smile for the camera.

She wrote simply:

Rosie's involvement in her granddaughter's life was questioned as recently as September.

Chelsea, 21, spoke to the Daily Mail and expressed her hopes of just having a healthy baby.

However, she also said that "Rosie will not be in my child's life. And no, I do not feel sad about that, to be honest."

The star's oldest daughter has had a tumultuous relationship with her adoptive mother for years.

The public became aware of it in 2015 when she ran away, saying she was kicked out by Rosie.

The young mother denied being mentally ill at the time. She ended up staying with her then-boyfriend.

Fortunately, the two seemed to have established a much better relationship. In October, Rosie described their situation as being "on good, communicative terms now, and everybody is pulling for her."

The mother-daughter pair lives miles apart as Chelsea lives in Wisconsin. Nonetheless, Rosie confirmed that she and her new fiancee Elizabeth Rooney would "definitely be participating in the whole celebrating event."

The happy occasion comes just after Rosie joined other stars in remembering Penny Marshall. The 75-year-old was an alum of the show "Laverne & Shirley." She passed on Monday, December 17.

Rosie worked with Marshall in a TV commercial and other entertainment projects. The two were good friends until the star succumbed to diabetic complications.

Rosie posted a 1996 Kmart TV Commercial she and Penny did together, with the caption, “simply heartbroken #ripPENNY." Marshall was also a director who worked on films including "Big" which starred Tom Hanks.

For Rosie, we hope that the new life can help alleviate the heartache she must be going through following her friend's death.

Congratulations to Chelsea, her boyfriend, and the new grandmother. We wish newborn Skylar the best of health.
