Oprah melts hearts with video of longtime partner enjoying a cake given by Michael B Jordan's mom

Oprah Winfrey’s longtime partner just tasted the best cake he’s ever had, courtesy of Michael B Jordan’s mother.

Oprah Winfrey shared a video of her longtime partner, Stedman Graham, gushing about the rum cake gifted by Michael B. Jordan’s mother to her. She received it during a party which she hosted to celebrate “Black Panther”s Golden Globe nominations.

Declaring it “the best cake I’ve ever had,” Grahan is seen slicing into the delectable dessert and admiring how pretty it is.

“OhhhhHHHhHHHhhh my!,” he says and adds, “It’s soft and moist.”

“This is incredible.”

Winfrey captioned the clip explaining where the cake came from and how much she and her partner love it.

“Last night@blackpanther event @michaelbjordan ‘s mom gave me a Rum Cake . We’re lovin’ it over here. Having cake for breakfast!!”

CELEBRATING AN ACHIEVEMENT

The cake was the perfect complement to the swinging party Winfrey hosted to celebrate the two nominations “Black Panther” earned at the Golden Globes. It’s vying for Best Original Score and Motion Picture-Drama, no less.

Winfrey has been very vocal about her support for the billion-dollar grossing film which she described as "Phenomenal!" She personally wrote Disney’s Bob Iger after viewing it and gushed about the masterpiece. She read the same letter during the party and shared pictures from the occasion. “A beautiful night in Wakanda!”, she wrote and congratulated the film for its achievement.

LAMENTING A LOSS

Winfrey’s party comes in the heels of the recent loss the media mogul experienced. Her mother, Vernita Lee died on Thanksgiving Day. Despite this, Winfrey was grateful that she was able to say a proper goodbye because her mother knew her end was coming. She thanked Lee for raising her and not giving her away. She was only 17 when she had Winfrey, with no education, nor any skills.

We can’t imagine what the world would be like if Lee didn’t find the courage to rear Winfrey so we too are eternally grateful to her.
