Carrie Underwood prepares to celebrate last Christmas as a 'family of three'

Carrie Underwood shares her excitement at the imminent arrival of the fourth member of her family.

Carrie Underwood is glowing. The country star is getting ready to celebrate Christmas with her son Isaiah, 3, and her husband Mike Fisher, and it will be their last Festive Season as a trio.

The 35-year-old Underwood is expecting the couple's second child, another boy, revealed People.com on December 20, 2018, and looking forward to being part of a foursome.

“[Isaiah] told me recently that when the new baby comes that Daddy could have that baby and then he could be mine.”

UNDERWOOD ANNOUNCED PREGNANCY IN AUGUST

Underwood cautiously announced her pregnancy on Instagram in August when she was already 4 months along.

In September, Underwood revealed that she had gone through a nightmarish three miscarriages over the last two years, and the successful pregnancy had put her "over the moon."

The singer will be giving birth to her second child in January 2019, and her "Cry Pretty" tour will start in May, after her maternity leave.

"IT'S A BOY!" ANNOUNCED AT THE CMA AWARDS

The country star took advantage of being one of the hosts of the 2018 CMA Awards to announce on November 15 that she will be giving Isaiah a little brother.

It was a big night for Underwood, who took home her fifth Female Vocalist of the Year award.

UNDERWOOD'S DUE DATE ANNOUNCED

The singer will be giving birth to her second child in January 2019, and her "Cry Pretty" tour will start in May, after her maternity leave.

“You might be wondering or asking, ‘Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?’ Well … yay! Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond.”

Underwood has revealed that her son Isaiah may be in for a shock at having to share his mother with a new baby. The toddler told her that she can "give" his brother to dad, so she can be all his.
