Carrie Underwood’s son falls asleep in dad’s arms, because even Santa’s helpers get tired
The country star took to social media to share a cute photograph of her 3-year-old son resting on his father’s arms, seemingly in the spirit of Christmas.
Carrie Underwood shared the photograph featuring her son, Isaiah, and her husband, Mike Fisher, a former hockey player. In the snapshot, Isaiah is seen donning a red Christmas cap while he sleeps in his father’s arms.
Underwood captioned the post, “Even Santa’s helper gets a little tired getting ready for Christmas.”
The adorable photograph was welcomed by her followers with words of praise. The post has so far been liked more than 300,000 times.

A few days earlier, her husband also took to Instagram to share a Christmas-related post. Fisher posted a snapshot of Isaiah’s hand on a copy of “Indescribable: 100 Devotions About God & Science,” written by Louie Giglio.
He wrote in the description to the photograph, “Perfect Christmas gift! This book is so good for kids. Izzy's loving it.”
The couple’s social media feed is just a reflection of their special love and affection for their child. However, Isaiah will not be the only child to receive this care for the family’s next Christmas.
According to Us Weekly, the couple is expecting a child by January next year. Singer Taylor Dye, of Maddie & Tae, told the magazine during an interview that she had even “already offered to babysit” for Underwood’s newborn.
Underwood opened up about the gender of her new baby for the first time while co-hosting the CMAs alongside Brad Paisley.
Later, she also opened up about the three miscarriages she suffered in-between Isaiah’s birth and her recent pregnancy. She explained how she felt mad about it but then later felt guilty because she was not focusing on other great things happening with her in her life.
Prior to this year's CMA hosting session, Underwood also opened up about how Isaiah is adapting to the idea of having a baby brother.
Speaking in an interview, she told that her son had come up with an idea for sharing the parents' love among their two children. Underwood stated that Isaiah wants his father to have his baby brother while he would be his mother's.
