Oprah Winfrey made another rare appearance with her longtime partner, Stedman Graham in photos from the first Christmas after her mother’s death.

Winfrey’s best friend, Gayle King took to Instagram yesterday with a couple of pictures from their Christmas Day celebrations at the media mogul’s house.

The slideshow includes a photo of King, her son and her daughter, Winfrey, and Graham posing in front of a Christmas tree. The “Oprah Winfrey Network” boss seemed to be excited by something off-camera and was the image of happiness in her print dress and round-rimmed glasses.

There was also a shot of a much larger group posing on the steps with broad grins, a video of the turkey “unveiling” and a photo of Winfrey and Graham with King’s children.

The “CBS This Morning” host captioned her post:

“Xmas 2018 spectacular people, place & FOOD!! Swipe left for official group photo & the turkey ‘unveiling’”

THANKSGIVING TRAGEDY

This will be Winfrey’s first Christmas since losing her mother on Thanksgiving Day last month. Vernita Lee was 83 years old at the time of her death and her famous daughter, 64, declared that she lived a good life.

"Thank you all for your kind words and condolences regarding my mother Vernita Lee’s passing," Winfrey wrote on Instagram alongside a family photo featuring Graham. "It gives our family great comfort knowing she lived a good life and is now at Peace."

DECADES OF LOVE

Although Winfrey and Graham have never been married, the New Jersey-born businessman is as much her family as anyone else.

The couple met in 1986 at a charity event in Chicago, Illinois, and began dating the same year. Nearly a decade after they met, Graham proposed to the billionaire in 1992.

They soon called off their engagement, however, reportedly because they were too focused on pursuing their careers and realized marriage wasn’t right for them.

FEAR OF TABLOIDS

Winfrey and Graham also began to step out together less often, and earlier this year, Winfrey explained why.

In a Goop podcast with Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Winfrey confessed that she used to get upset over false tabloid stories about her.

She added:

“It’s also why I stopped making as many public appearances with Stedman because I realized that every time there’s a new photograph, there’s a new story.”

PERFECT DATE NIGHT

Despite her privacy policy, the “A Wrinkle In Time” actress does share tidbits about her life with Graham once in a while.

In August, she opened up about the perfect date night with her partner and even used the opportunity to gush over his qualities.

"He is delighted with anything that I make,” Winfrey shared of the 67-year-old. “So my favorite date night is to make him black-eyed peas and cornbread as a surprise for dinner and then honey, hush. That's all you need!”
