Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri is growing into the spitting image of her mother

Suri Cruise is still a pre-teen but she's acting like typical adults. Not to mention, she's starting to look just like her mother.

The 12-year-old was spotted out and about with her friends as the group of three walked through New York City.

In her hand was a top of the line smartphone. Suri stared down at her phone at one point, as a typical teenager would.

She and her friends were all dressed in pink coats. Underneath, Suri wore a flowered dress, She held a red clutch and tied up her outfit with nude ballerina shoes.

Suri, daughter to Katie Holmes, wore her brunette locks down. The young Cruise smiled as she enjoyed her time with her pals.

Suri, who is also the daughter of Tom Cruise, is kept out of the spotlight for the most part. Her parents divorced back in 2013.

Her father has remained out of the picture for years now, reportedly due to the Church of Scientology to which he belongs.

After their separation, Cruise reportedly held auditions for a new girlfriend. Earlier this month, new details emerged that the Church leader, David Miscavige's wife was to help in finding a new girlfriend for Cruise.

Former Scientologist, Valerie Haney, described the relationship between Miscavige and Cruse as one in which "they worshiped each other."

Back in June, Holmes shared a glimpse of daughter Suri having fun with a friend. The two were skipping down the sidewalk hand-in-hand.

Both girls wore floral dresses and sneakers as they took giant leaps down the sidewalk. Towards the end, Holmes edited the video to show in slow motion.

Fans were ecstatic to get a peek at Suri who is growing so fast. In the caption, Holmes simply put emojis including a heart, a sun, a bow, and prayer hands.

Indeed, the 39-year-old mother seems very thankful for her young daughter. She further makes sure to be a good mother by leaving events at 10 p.m. so that she "is dependable."
