Remember this little girl from 'The Ellen Show'? She’s all grown up and barely recognizable
Seven years ago Sophia Grace and her cousin Rosie appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” performing “Super Bass” by Nicki Minaj. Now Sophia Grace is grown up and forging her own path.
While Sophia became famous for her pink tutu and British accent, she is far away from her rap cover origins.
The music video for her new song “Can’t Sleep” was recently released and the 15-year-old singer looks very different from when she first stepped onto the scene.

CAN’T SLEEP
In the video, the teen star is wearing joggers, acrylic nails, and hoop earrings. She starts the video with a spoken word introduction where she speaks about wanting to break free from people’s expectations of her:
“People say they want me to be the same as I was before. And it annoys me because I’m not that person anymore, and they always ask me to go back to how I was, but I’m different, and that’s not who I am.”
This is quite the transition from the viral YouTube videos that made her famous in 2011. After Ellen had her on the show she skyrocketed to fame and even attended the Teen Choice Awards.
Sophia Grace has consistently been working on her music career as this is her goal in life. However, she still enjoys many typical teenage activities.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DUO?
When they appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Sophia was eight and Rosie was 5 years old. Now Rosie is 13 years old and is still very active on YouTube.
Rosie’s most recent upload was a Christmas Countdown video. The highlight was that she received braces on the eighth day.
Like her cousin, Rosie is also making music. In May 2018 she released a song called “Handstand,” which was a hit on YouTube.
Despite now having solo careers, Sophia and Rosie’s bond as cousins is still very strong.
