Reese Witherspoon models next to her mom and daughter, proving they look like identical triplets

At the age of 42, Reese Witherspoon is in a great place with her career, and what better way to celebrate great things to come than with her mum and daughter right next to her on the Vogue cover.

The Oscar-winning actress produced and starred in the first season of Big Little Lies, and is getting ready to start with season two.

As her teen daughter Ava and mother Betty joined her on the shoot by Vogue, she gave the publication a deeper glimpse into her life as the followed her on a meeting with her company, and sat down with them for a chat at her LA mansion.

During her interview, Reese kept close to the topic of female empowerment and spoke of how she loves helping other women with her production company.

Founded in 2016, Reese began the production company ‘Hello Sunshine,’ to help empower women as she elaborated:

“The idea is to put women at the center of the story…I was sick of making movies where I was the only female lead on the set. I was sick of seeing scripts where there was one female role, badly written, and yet every actress in town wanted the part because there was nothing else.”

The actress continued:

“I finally asked myself, Why does it have to be the same 20 people making all the movies? 'Maybe there is room for a more inclusive idea about who can be on-screen and who can get it funded. Maybe there are different ways to get content made so that the world we see on-screen looks more like the world we walk through in real life.”

Reese’s production company had taken on about 20 new projects, and on top of it all she is raising three children, she maintains friendships, acts and produces, Draper James - her lifestyle brand and the books.

If there is anyone that is part of the superwoman club, it's Reese. She is mum to Ava, 19, Deacon, 15, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. Her six-year-old son, Tennessee she shares with husband Jim Toth, whom she married in 2011.

Meanwhile, the three generations of Witherspoon women look stunning on the February 2019 cover of Vogue, where one might mistake them as identical triplets.

When the actress shared her family’s Christmas card with fans on Instagram, it reiterated her sense of care and compassion for the wellbeing of those around her as she captioned it with a beautiful Christmas message:

“On this Christmas Eve, I’m sending you holiday wishes for a day filled with love and laughter — the important things that remind us how blessed we all are. And I’m sending extra special wishes of light & love to anyone out there who needs it! ✨❤️?.”

The 42-year-old Reese is flanked by her 19-year-old daughter, and husband Jim to her left and 15-year-old Deacon and six-year-old Tennessee on her right.

In the Christmas card, with mum and daughter standing next to each other their resemblance is unmistakable. Daughter Ava Elizabeth Phillippe inherited her mother’s striking blue eyes and blond hair.

Fans over the years have also commented on how much alike they are in appearance, and with each passing year, the resemblance just gets stronger.

On Ava’s 18th birthday on September 9, 2017, Reese posted a series of pictures dating back to when she was three years old, and not only do the two look very much alike, but Ava has grown into a smart and beautiful young woman, and looks stunning alongside her mother on the cover of the upcoming issue of Vogue.
