'Love & Hip-Hop' stars Juelz Santana and Kimbella tie the knot after 10 years together
Juelz Santana and Kimbella from the show "Love & Hip-Hop" shocked fans by tying the know after 10 years together.
Juelz Santana and Kimbella have made tons of memories during their 10-year-relationship. However, their recent step will certainly be the most important one.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony on Thursday. Their relationship is notorious for being tumultuous but with two children together, the couple has now cemented their relationship together.
@Amanmagazine1 tweeted, "Congratulations to Juelz Santana & Kimbella! The are officially Mr. & Mrs. This is 1/3 Love & Hip Hop weddings of this year. #lhh #lhhny #lhhh #lhhmiami #vh1 #santana"
The couple has not released many pics of their ceremony. There are a few social media posts from the event posted by guests who recorded pieces of the wedding ceremony.
Some footage included the couple’s first dance. The guest list consisted of the couple's celebrity friends including Lil Kim, Santana’s Dipset brothers, Cam’ron and Jim Jones.
On "Love & Hip-Hop" this season focused on the couple's struggles as they spent time working on the trials of their relationship. This included them working through the shock of Santana’s gun sentencing.
The rapper was sentenced to 27 months in prison on December 19. In March last year, he was involved in an incident where TSA agents found a loaded gun on him during an X-ray scan.
He is expected to go to prison later this year. Last year November, Santana had popped the question to Kimbella during the Dipset reunion concert.
“This my lady. She’s been rocking with me for a long, long time,” the rapper told the Apollo Theater audience. “She stuck it out with a n—a through the ups and downs. I love you, baby. You’re my queen and I want to do this in front of everybody right here,” he said.
Most fans of the couple were extremely happy for them but some were skeptical. One fan commented on Instagram that Santan only proposed because he was "bout to go to jail for 2 years."
Santana came across the comment. He decided to set the record straight and replied to the comment with a gentle retort to set correct the skeptic.
"If I was worried about someone taking her then I wouldn't of did it. If someone take ya lady, a ring ain't gonna stop nothing. U just gonna be out of a ring n a lady. What u saying makes no sense... Stay blessed tho fam." replied Santana
