Followers slam NeNe Leakes for her makeup choices after recent photo with Cynthia Bailey's daughter

NeNe Leakes is making eyebrows rise and earning critics from her fans after she shared a pic with her goddaughter, Noelle Robinson. In the shot, Leakes’ makeup seems a bit off, and fans are slamming the reality star and her makeup artist for their poor choices.

She’s probably the most famous “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, but with fame comes criticism, and that’s something NeNe Leakes gets on the daily.

While she’s continually getting hate for her sharp tongue and shady comments against the other ladies of the show’s cast, this time around fans are slamming NeNe for her makeup choices.

The 50-year-old recently took to Instagram to share two pics with her goddaughter, Cynthia Bailey’s daughter Noelle Robinson, and fans had a lot to say about her look. In the pics, Leakes is wearing an Adidas tracksuit in different shades of green and had her blonde hair styled in a low ponytail.

However, her light foundation and highlighter, and her extremely thick eyebrows, paired with the flash of the camera, made NeNe’s face look awkward, according to some of the comments.

“I don’t like your makeup, Did you even look at this picture before you post it? Your makeup is WAY to light, especially where it's supposed to be contoured,” wrote one angered fan.

Another added, “Sisssssss I love you, but I hate whoever did this makeup. Those brows are hideous!” and a third one agreed, “Makeup too much. Eyebrows a fail #naturalbeautyisbetter.”

FEELING PRETTY ALL THE TIME

NeNe, as usual, has chosen to ignore the negative comments, as she has revealed in the past how much love she has for her makeup artist. Last year, she was asked in an interview with New Beauty what member of her glam team he would take to a deserted island, and she said:

“I would take my makeup artist Parra Thomas because I can’t do my makeup as good as she can, but I can definitely pull my hair up in a ponytail.”

In the same interview, NeNe revealed that she’s always been a confident woman, and confessed that she always feels pretty no matter what.

“I feel pretty all the time, but I feel like the older I’ve gotten, the prettier I’ve gotten,” she stated. “I feel like I’ve gotten better with time and I feel the most pretty right after I’ve gotten all glammed up.”

It says a lot about NeNe’s character that despite the difficult situation she’s going through with her husband’s cancer diagnosis, she has managed to take care of herself without neglecting Gregg.

GREGG’S PUBLIC APOLOGY

However, the businessman created quite the drama a few days ago, after making a public apology to NeNe for mistreating her and taking her role as his caregiver for granted.

“We always hurt the ones we Love.. because they allow us to hurt them rather than snap back,” he started in his post.

“I’m tired of hurting my wife who is only trying to take good care of me and wants only the best for me too. She deserves much more for her hard efforts and tireless hours spent on me. I Pray to God to get it together..She’s done NO wrong... this is ALL on me......Cancer WILL change your Life...”

However, it seems like all is good in the Leakes’ household, as NeNe later made sure to post a pic with her husband, encouraging him to enjoy his day out at the casino and breaking people’s notions that he’s “stuck in a bed or hooked up to some sort of machine.”
