Mo'Nique flaunts 100lbs weight loss in tight silver dress after announcing Las Vegas residency

Mo’Nique, the actress and comedian best known for her roles in “Precious” and “Bessie,” took to Instagram to show off her much slimmer figure.

In the first image of the slideshow, the 51-year-old lady appeared posing with her arms up and her tongue out in a beautiful, tight, sleeveless, silver gown. As for the accessories, she only wore silver earrings, wristband, and ring.

For the second photo, Mo’Nique’s hands were touching her legs, posing in a more natural way. Apart from her clothes, her gorgeous, long hair attracted a lot of attention.

In the caption, the comedian talked about her experience as a resident performer at the Las Vegas SLS Hotel,

“Hey my loves. When I tell y’all I am having an amazing time with this RESIDENCY at the SLS HOTEL IN LAS VEGAS. The LOVE is OVERWHELMINGLY BEAUTIFUL. Can’t wait to see y’all my babies. I LOVE YALL 4 REAL!” [sic].

While her outfit was striking, the highlight of the slideshow was the actress’ figure that looked a lot slimmer. Some of her followers noticed it and took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

HER WEIGHT-LOSS JOURNEY

Mo’Nique has been addressing her weight-loss journey for a long time already. Back in March 2018, the actress uploaded a video on Instagram telling her followers that she had not weighed below 200 pounds since she was 17 years old. Thankfully, her hard work paid off.

“Today was the first time in my adult life that I’ve been under 200 pounds, so I wanted to let you all know it’s possible and you can do it and we can get there,” revealed Mo’Nique, who has lost at least 100 pounds throughout her journey.

MO’NIQUE’S SURGERY RUMORS

Due to her success, several people have claimed that the Oscar-winning actress must have got done some plastic surgeries. However, Mo’Nique has addressed those rumors a couple of times already.

In a video she uploaded to her Instagram account, she appeared next to her “surgeon,” choreographer Dwight Holt Jr, in the middle of a dance studio showing off their synchronized and powerful moves.

Mo’Nique’s face set clear how difficult dancing at that pace for that long was as she was sweating and heavy breathing. That fact emphasized what she wrote in the caption.

“SURGERY YOU ASK? Baby this is all the SURGERY I've ever done. DANCE SURGERY. [Dwight] is my SURGEON. Sisters it works. Benefits-LONGER LIFE. Love y'all 4 real,” [sic] wrote Mo’Nique.

At the moment, the comedian is focused on her residency at the SLS Hotel in Las Vegas for her show titled “Mo’Nique Does Vegas.”
