'My husband's many (many) women,' Mom of 4 shared her candid experience of marriage
Marriage is no walk in the park, and no one knows it better than one mom-of-four who opened up about all the women her husband has been with before and during their marriage.
Emily Kasper echoed many women’s experiences with her revealing blog post back in 2018. Emphasizing the fact that her husband is “a good man,” she went ahead to describe the first woman.

THE CAREER WOMAN
“Years ago he met a (very) young woman, and the way he told me this story, he was immediately, permanently smitten,” Kasper began on her blog, Intentional-Ish. “She had a corporate job and pencil skirts, sky-high Kelly green heels and heavy black eyeliner.”
"She said this woman had a complicated pregnancy, but her husband took care of her as he’d never cared for anyone in his life."
Kasper said that her husband had an instant connection with the career-oriented woman and she was his “first true love.”
“When I hear this story, I'm envious of her and the effect she had on him,” she confessed.

THE COMPANION
Next, Kasper wrote of a woman her husband met in graduate school. She even recalled a photograph of both of them- the woman was sitting in the shade while Kasper’s husband built a deck onto his house.
She added:
“They look so peaceful. He seems content to work next to her, not for help but for the simple beauty of knowing she's there. They studied together, talking about continuous process improvement and organizational change theory, staying up late- working making each other cups of coffee and bowls of ice cream.”
Again, Kasper envied her husband’s relationship with this woman, noting that their reality was different from the one she had with her man.

THE WOMAN WITH CHILD
Finally, Kasper described the woman her husband met many years after the first two. She said this woman had a complicated pregnancy, but her husband took care of her as he’d never cared for anyone in his life.
“I think she was a very lucky woman indeed,” Kasper wrote, before making the big reveal:
“I've been many women in the years I've known my husband, moving from work and travel to marriage and family life. I've been full-time, part-time, student, and a homemaker at different times. I've been well and sick, encouraged and desolate. I've borne four children and watched the incredible changes that has made to my mind, body, and spirit. And somehow, every step of the way as I've morphed and changed and evolved again, he has stood beside me in easy acceptance. May he love the me I am tomorrow as well as he has loved the me's of the last decade.”

Kasper’s article went viral in no time because many women could relate to her marital experiences. Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle about the reactions she’s been getting, Kasper admitted:
“It’s hugely satisfying to give women a bit of writing that they can say, ‘YES! This is about ME,’ but it’s also been sad to hear from those who say they’ve never experienced this kind of love.”
