Steve Harvey's daughter Lori confirms relationship with Trey Songz after singer said he loves her

Although her relationship with Trey Songz has been public for a while now, Lori Harvey finally made it Instagram official by sharing a pic snuggling to the singer and putting all speculations to rest.

Lori, Steve Harvey’s youngest step-daughter from his marriage to Marjorie Harvey, has been facing her fans’ inquiries about her relationship status for the past few months. However, when she celebrated her birthday on January 14, Songz let the cat out of the bag by sharing a video wishing her a happy birthday and declaring his love for her on Instagram stories.

MAKING THINGS OFFICIAL TO THE WORLD

Now, Lori finally decided to make their relationship official on Instagram, sharing a pic booed’ up with Trey that has fans’ hearts melting. In the shot, Lori is wearing a large buttoned white shirt and leather pants while sitting on Trey’s lap and sneaking her arms around his shoulders.

Songz, on the other hand, stares straight at the camera protectively embracing Lori and holding her hand. He rocked an all-black outfit and added flair to his outfit with a silver watch and some rings.

“It is what it is,” Harvey captioned the photo.

Fans seem delighted by the new couple, with most of them mentioning how Trey finally got himself a “nice woman.”

HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT

Trey, 34, and Lori, 22 were first spotted together last December as they went shopping around New York. Back then, Harvey tried to hide from paparazzi, ducking in Trey’s car as the photographers tried to catch the couple.

However, a few days later the couple was caught on camera having fun at The Phoenix club in Los Angeles, with Lori wearing a leopard-print outfit, while Songz, wearing a black hoodie, stared soulfully into the lady’s face.

By the time New Year rolled in, Lori was not afraid of her relationship hitting the tabloids, as she flew to San Francisco with Trey and clung to his back while he performed at the Regency Ballroom in front of a live audience.

DITCHING HER OLD FIANCÉ

Lori was previously engaged to Memphis Depay, a Dutch professional soccer player. She was 20 when Depay popped the question in June 2017, and everyone in her family was excited about the news.

Stevey Harvey took to Twitter back then to announce the engagement, calling Memphis a “good one.”

Lori and Depay quietly called the engagement off, she stopped wearing her ring, and they stopped being seen together just a few months later.
