In the image, the singer and his son were seen partially embracing themselves. The father and son were still shaking each other when they took the cute photo. Donny who looked almost as young as his son, Brandon had a dark blue striped shirt on while the younger Osmond kept it simple in a grey T-shirt.

The father of five sons was born in Ogden, Utah to a family of later day saints. And just like his parents, the dancer and former teen idol raised his five sons in this line of faith.

There were lots of heartfelt comments from fans who used the medium to wish Brandon a happy birthday.

"Happy Birthday Brandon with love from Spain, hope you have a great day with that lovely family you have" - @candy.damasco wrote.

Some even commented on the young lad's good looks saying:

"My goodness he looks like your late father! Handsome indeed."

Brandon, unlike his father, is not too psyched about carrying on the musical legacy of the family. Growing up with his famous dad was a turn off for the handsome young man when it came to pursuing a career in music.

Although born with talent, Brandon seemed to have seen the good and the ugly side of being a singer. He, therefore, chose to stay away from it. When asked about his lack of interest in the music industry, Brandon said:

"A lot of things came that were more important and I just keep putting it off."

Recently, he was encouraged by his wife and other family members to participate in an online music competition, "Showcase."

Osmond finally agreed and composed two songs, "Thine Own Son" about Jesus and his faith, and " Bring Me Home" which was for his then-girlfriend turned wife.

Although being a part of that was good, Brandon's primary focus and passion is photography which he is studying at Brigham Young University.
