The 49-year-old star, who left the CBS show “NCIS” after 15 seasons, decided to take part in the ongoing “10 Years Challenge” social media trend.

Perrette took to Twitter to share an old photograph of herself alongside a more recent one, and it quickly got NCIS fans emotional.

“I’ll play #10yearchallenge (took me forever to find an old pic!),” Perrette wrote on her Twitter post, which sees her sporting a similar smile in two different photographs despite the difference in years.

“FYI Only use soap and Vaseline on my face. Nothing else.”

Fans were quick to notice that Perrette did not look much different in the two snapshots. It seemed she hardly aged a day.

One fan replied to her post, “I would never have guessed those 2 pictures were 10 years apart.” Similarly, another one mentioned that it was “not fair” that she doesn’t age.

Twitter user Jahna went as far as to write, “I do believe you look younger now!” While several others shared the view that she looked “beautiful as ever” despite the years.

The nostalgic photograph of Perrette also took fans to her “NCIS” days and many replied to her post by stating how much they missed her on the show.

Twitter user Fran Doba wrote, “We miss you, Pauley. Watched NCIS marathon a few days ago with the best cast ever. Harmon, Weatherly, de Pablo, Perrette, McCallum, Murray, Dietzen, Carroll. Wish it could have lasted forever.”

Addressing fans’ comments about Perrette’s youthful look, the actress herself decided to post a cheeky reply on her post.

Perrette tweeted, “FYI Only use soap and Vaseline on my face. Nothing else.” She also credited her “not aging gene” to her mother, who was “so much more beautiful.” “And beer maybe? I love beer,” Perrette added.

The beloved actress announced her retirement from “NCIS” back in October 2017 causing widespread disappointment among the fans of the show.

Last year in September, her former co-star, Michael Weatherly, candidly spoke about the possibility of Perrette making a return on the show.
