This marriage reportedly lasted for only 3 minutes after groom allegedly called the bride ‘stupid’
A woman in Kuwait divorced her husband after he called her stupid for tripping and falling. They were married for only three minutes.
The couple got “happily” married in front of a judge in a courtroom as most people do. However, when the ceremony was over and they were getting out of the room, the lady tripped and fell.
As Q8 News reported, the groom made fun of her in front of everybody by calling her “stupid.” Evidently angry, the woman turned back and requested the judge a divorce. The judge agreed and annulled the marriage only three minutes after they said, “I do.”

One of the most striking aspects of the incident is that they didn’t even leave the courtroom. Their marriage is believed to be the shortest in the country’s history.
People in Twitter quickly shared their thoughts after learning about that divorce. Most users backed up the bride’s decision pointing out that respect should be the essential rule in marriages.
“If she was my daughter or sister I would certainly encourage her to do so,” admitted a netizen.
“She just avoided a lifetime of put downs,” added a second user.
“I love a feel good story with a happy ending! Disney should make this a movie. What a jerk,” shared another person.
While this couple got divorced just three minutes after exchanging their vows, some other people get married a few days after meeting each other. One of the most famous women who did so is “Clueless” actress Stacey Dash.
According to Page Six, the lady had a secret wedding in Florida on April 6 with lawyer Jeffrey Marty, who she reportedly met only ten days before tying the knot. Dash’s manager, Kerry Jones, didn’t reveal when or how they met each other but admitted they wanted the ceremony to be “down low.”
The man has three children with his ex-wife and, by the time Dash announced their marriage (October 2018), he was living in Tampa, Florida while she resided in Los Angeles, suggesting that they had a long-distance relationship.
At the moment, they are still together, though there are not many details about their romance.
