Angela Simmons shares son’s picture, says that ex Sutton left their child in ‘great hands’

Angela Simmons is melting hearts with recent pics of her adorable son, SJ after the boy got a haircut. Meanwhile, new details about the fatal shooting of Simmons’ ex-fiancé have surfaced.

The “Growing Up Hip Hop” star and shoe designer, Angela Simmons, is trying to give her son a sense of normalcy after the death of his father last November.

Sutton Joseph has earned the hearts of people all over social media with his adorable smile, and he’s quite the stunner in recent pics shared by his mom on Instagram. The photos show a before and after SJ got a haircut, and he looks handsome rocking a Cookie Monster shirt under a denim jacket and a gold necklace.

“Fresh Cut Monday !!! @staycaked hooked us up. Swipe for before and after. Daddy left him great hands,” Angela captioned the post.

Fans took over the comment section to gush about little Sutton, with most taking the time to advise Angela on how to manage her son’s hair. “Awe, what a handsome Lil guy & definitely fresh haircut,” wrote one fan.

And another added, “I love how you don’t touch his hair lineeeeee. Take notes ladies, y’all be setting y’all sons up for baldies.”

Simmons, 31, welcomed her son in September 2016 with her late ex-fiancé, Sutton Tennyson. She called off the engagement in December of the same year, stating that although she tried to make the relationship work, it had become toxic and she had to walk away.

Tennyson, 37, was found lifeless inside an open garage at his Atlanta home on November 3, 2018.

According to reports, Sutton got into an argument about money with another man when things escalated, and he received several gunshots. The man, later identified as Michael Williams, fled the scene in a car.

A few days after the shooting, Williams surrendered himself to local police. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and murder. However, Williams’ lawyer says his client denies the murder allegations and insists he didn’t pull the trigger.

New reports have revealed that Tennyson was shot 13 times in his chest, stomach, legs, and arms. According to TMZ, the Fulton County Medical Examiner stated that three of the shots did an "enormous amount of damage" to his heart, piercing several chambers of the organ.

Simmons, daughter of Run-DMC’s Rev. Run, revealed she was heartbroken by the news, sharing a series of pics of Tennyson with their son. “Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I’m hurting. I’m numb,” she wrote on Instagram.

And added:

“Thank you for the out pouring of love everyone. I can’t believe I’m even saying Rest In Peace Sutton. I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise.”
