After Kristoff St. John was found lifeless on February 3, 2019, due to an alleged alcohol overdose at home, Mia claims that a certain Mental Health Institute is trying to kill her whole family and is holding her against her will.

Kristoff St. John took his son Julian's suicide quite heavily, which resulted in him getting addicted to vices. At 24-years-old, Julian was found dead at La Casa Mental Health Hospital in Long Beach, California, where he was seeking help back in 2014.

Now, Mia says that the same institution confined her there against her will. According to her, there needs to be some mental health reform in America, as "both her boys" were neglected and discharged despite actively seeking for help.

The boxer wrote some cryptic messages on Twitter that had people worried, saying that there are people trying to get her into a mental hospital in order to kill the rest of her family.

Kristoff had two more children aside from Julian, Paris, whom he shares with Mia, and Lola, whom he shares with another woman. He was set to get married to his fiancee, Kseniya Mikhaelava.

Mia and Kristoff got divorced in 1995, but she still carries his last name and they've remained friends through the years as they continued to co-parent their children.
