Andy Cohen gets slammed for taking days-old son on a plane
Excited father, Andy Cohen took his newborn on his first flight. His actions caused massive outrage and many slammed him for traveling with the baby.
Bravo star Andy Cohen recently welcomed his first child, a baby boy, into the world. The baby was born via surrogate on February 4.
The new dad took to Instagram to post an image of him traveling on a private plane with the days-old infant. Fans, however, were not impressed.
The TV host's picture showed him on a private plane with his son, Benjamin Allen Cohen, strapped in a papoose. He grinned brightly at the camera.
"Digging the #DadGear !!!" read the caption.
However, his followers did not think traveling with the young baby was a good idea. Many feared the baby was too young to fly.
"Ahh too young to be in the carrier and too young to be in a plane!" one user wrote. Another added, "Too soon for a plane. Eardrums people!"
"I don't think that is a good way to carry a newborn," said another concerned fan.
Even though users criticized his decision, many wished him well. Others simply congratulated him and commented on how adorable he looks as a father.
Cast members of the "Real Housewives" franchise Cohen produces also took to the comment section. They kept their comments positive.
"Omg !!! I'm obsessed with this photo! I LOVED carrying my babies around like that," Kyle Richards of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" wrote.
The stars are often a support system for Cohen. They even came together from all over the country to enjoy a huge bash before the baby was born as part of his Baby Shower celebrations.
