In the first post, Loni appeared wearing a black ensemble and red sunglasses while holding flowers and a balloon that read, “Happy Valentine’s Day!” James, also wearing black, was behind her with a teddy bear and a box of chocolates.

The lady pointed out that it was their first Valentine’s Day together, so James bought her everything. Finally, she said that the couple wanted to wish everybody a “happy Valentine’s.”

As soon as she uploaded that clip, her followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

“Love u Loni and I'm so happy for you and James, nice looking couple,” [sic] wrote one user.

“Ahhh. Loni you deserve that and more. James, you are the man. Way to go. I like ya,” [sic] pointed out a second follower.

“Awww, he better truly love my girl. She looks so happy and it's awesome,” [sic] stated another person.

LONI’S RELATIONSHIP

Even though it is not clear when James and Loni started dating, they went public in November 2018. Since the actor is White, and Loni is Black, some people criticized her interracial relationship. However, she responded to those trolls on an episode of “The Real.”

“I have to say this. Me being a person dating a White man; that is about compatibility, that is not about blackness. Let me tell you something, don’t get it twisted. All day long I will take off my wig and put up my fist and fight for my people. Understand that,” pointed out Loni.

DATING A WHITE MAN

Later, guest-host Yvette Nicole Brown added that Black women don’t usually start dating White men as they give “a lot of chances” to Black men. Apart from that, Loni said that she had been dating Black men for 47 years.

“This is the one white man and y’all gonna try to talk? No! It’s about compatibility …Let’s be real, they’ve been giving grief to Serena Williams. They’ve been giving grief to anybody that’s prominent that has been dating outside of their race. But [I’ll] tell you, when it comes to love, it’s about compatibility — especially when you get in them 40s,” [sic] finished Loni.
