During one of her father’s shows at Sundown Heaven Town Tour, the young girl dared to take the stage and sing in front of a considerable mass of people.

Meanwhile, Country Rebel informed that “Travelling Soldier” was first released back in 2002 as the third song to be released by Dixie Chicks for their album titled “Home.”
The song itself is the story of a lonely Vietnam War veteran, who develops a strong bond with a waitress while waiting for an Army bus.
The veteran continues to correspond with the waitress throughout his service period until one day he suddenly realizes that he won’t be able to write anymore.
Later, the waitress hears the soldier’s name being amid other several locals who died serving in Vietnam. She then begins to mourn the soldier, becoming the only person in town to do so.
Knowing the heartfelt emotions behind the lyrics of the song, it becomes more apparent that Audrey’s melodious and passionate voice did complete justice to the song.
Audrey is the youngest of Hill and McGraw’s three children. The power couple also shares 21-year-old Gracie Katherine and 19-year-old Maggie Elizabeth.
