"All My Children Stars" met up on Monday’s "Strahan and Sara" to talk about what it was like to take part in one of the great soap operas.

Susan Lucci, Walt Wiley, Jacob Young, Cady McClain, and Jill Larson also discussed what life has been like since they went their separate ways in 2011.

"All My Children" ran for 41 years before the curtain finally dropped on the show, and the cast was on hand to discuss some of their favorite memories of their time together.

McClain shared with the show’s hosts Michael Strahan and Sara Haines that the cast members have kept contact throughout the years:

“The most amazing thing is we’ve all had this ongoing relationship with the audience on a daily basis,” “It continues to this day, which is amazing. So grateful for that.”

Susan Lucci herself has been in the news of late after her slip and fall during an event to promote heart health.

The show had some of the most extravagant weddings on daytime television, and they were particularly memorable for Young.

The 39-year-old Young said the one she remembers vividly were the weddings which "were always so beautiful," adding that fans could relate that because "they were very epic"

In a lighthearted episode, the stars even took some time out to reprise their characters as they performed some of their famous scenes for old times sake.

“It’s such a touchstone, it’s such an anchor,” said Larson, 71.

Susan Lucci, in particular, was appreciative of the support of the fans many of which have remained devoted to the show and its characters despite the fact they’ve been off the air for years.

“People stop as if All My Children never went off,” she said. “They still talk about the storyline, the characters.”

Lucci herself has been in the news of late after her slip and fall during an event to promote heart health.

The charity is something of special importance to the 72-year-old. Just last year she underwent surgery to insert two stents into the main artery in her heart.

It’s good to see the actress in good health again and enjoying the company of her old friends.
