Diddy Learns His Twin Daughters' Dance Routine in New Video Which Melted Everyone's Hearts
Diddy has been stepping up his fatherhood game since the passing of his twins’ mother, Kim Porter, and he’s excelling at it. The music mogul recently melted hearts on social media with a video where he’s helping his daughters learn a dance routine for their school play, proving that he’s their biggest fan.
Diddy’s parenting skills are going through the roof. Not only does he make sure to give everything to his children, materialistic speaking, but he’s also really invested in their extra-curricular activities, offering his support and sometimes, his dance moves.
In a recent video shared to his Instagram, the rapper joined his twin daughters, Jessie and D’lila, 12, on their rehearsal for a school rendition of the musical “Dreamgirls.” The girls put in their best work practicing their moves in front of a mirror, while Diddy followed from behind.
The proud dad had nothing but praise for his girls as they practiced hard alongside their friend the night before the show. And on D-day, he was among the audience, cheering and clapping for the twins.
He also made sure to give each girl a flower bouquet after the show, sealing the deal with a sweet kiss and a huge smile on his face.
“#MOMMYDAD I LOVE MY JOB!!!! #myQUEENS @the_combs_twins,” Diddy captioned the video, adding a bunch of hearts and heart eyes emojis.
He also shared a separate clip from the performance, showing Jessie and D’lila in action as they rocked blue satin dresses, gloves, and a perfect smile on their faces while enjoying the stage. He captioned the clip:
“MY BABIES KILLED IT !!! dream girls. So proud JUST LIKE THEIR MOMMY @ladykp.”
The twins have been enjoying more and more time with their father since the sudden passing of their mother, Kim Porter, last November.
Porter, a former model, and fashion designer died at 47 from pneumonia complications.
Diddy and Kim maintained a love relationship for years before their split in 2007. But despite their separation, the pair always managed to keep a friendship, co-parenting their children with harmony and no dramas.
On Porter’s funeral, Diddy made a promise to his kids on his touching eulogy.
“I just want to say to my kids, Justin, Christian, D’Lila, Jessie, Chance and the other man in the house, Quincy: Your mother instilled in me this, and I pledge in front of everybody right now that I will always be there for you,” Combs said in an audio recording of the eulogy obtained by TMZ.
And continued:
“I will always take care of you. To the girls especially, we about to enter some different type of times. I want you to be able to talk to me about everything, and I mean everything, and I mean everything.”
So far, Diddy has lived up to his promise, making sure to be present in all of his daughters’ school events, planning their birthdays, enjoying Christmas with them, and more.
