It seems that the fans of the hit reality singing competition don't forget easily, as they still have not forgiven Adam Levine for last year's drama.

During "The Voice" season 15, Levine rooted for Reagan Strange over DeAndre Nico, a decision that caused a huge controversy.

Levine, who has two children with the former Victoria's Secret angel Behati Prinsloo, also caused a lot of controversies at the Super Bowl Halftime Show recently.

The 39-year-old singer basically instructed viewers at home to vote in favor of Strange, who was too ill to perform her Instant Save song, rather than Nico.

It’s safe to say that fans were not delighted that he rallied for one and not the other, as both singers were on his team.

Levine, who has been a coach in “The Voice” since its first season in 2011, faced a backlash, and Nico even claimed that he sold him out. And after that, the award-winning singer was quiet for a while.

However, now that new contestants have taken the stage for "The Voice" season 16, many fans immediately took to Twitter to express their sentiments about Levine's return.

One user wrote: "I think Team Blake would have taken you farther in the Voice, than Adam, after he sold out one of his own talented team members last season! Good Luck!"

"No. We have not forgotten your actions last season and how you threw your contestant under the bus [Levine]. Will not give any of your contestants a vote regardless because YOU don’t deserve a win and because you will throw them under the bus anyway," added another.

Another user tweeted: "I cannot believe Adam Levine was invited back to The Voice after what he did to his own team player last season."

However, in spite of the drama, there are a lot of individuals who want only the best for Levine.

One fan wrote: "I am so glad Adam that your back. Good luck this year." Another said: "I'm Team Adam 100%."

Levine, who has two children with the former Victoria's Secret angel Behati Prinsloo, also caused a lot of controversies at the Super Bowl Halftime Show recently.

This year Maroon 5 was the act chosen to perform. During the performance, the band’s lead vocalist, Levine, decided to remove his shirt, which uncovered his tattooed chest and arms.

Photos of this have been doing the rounds on social media, which has caused many people to mock his body art.
