Ryan Seacrest Unexpectedly Broke up with His Girlfriend of 3 Years Shayna Taylor

Ryan Seacrest is now a single man after breaking up with his long-time girlfriend Shayna Taylor.

The couple has reportedly split after dating on-and-off for five years.

Seacrest, 44, and Taylor 26, got back together in 2016 after they split in December 2014. The couple first met in March 2013 through friends.

Taylor referred to Seacrest as “best friend” in her last Instagram post with the Live With Kelly and Ryan host. The heart-warming picture of the couple cozying up received tons of comments from fans who are shocked to receive the news of their split.

“He needed to step up, make her his wife”, a comment from a fan read.

The TV star and producer, who recently surprised fans with a rendition of a scene from ‘A Star is Born’ revealed that he is not planning to get married any time soon during an interview last December at KIIS FM’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball.

It has been claimed that the couple split because Taylor, who runs the fast-growing food and wellness blog Shayna’s Kitchen, wanted to take their relationship to another level with marriage but Seacrest “wasn’t there yet”.

Despite their split, the couple “still love and care about each other” and “still really close”, according to People. “After three years together, Shayna wanted more out of the relationship,” the source revealed. “It felt like the natural next step for her. She was ready to get married, but Ryan wasn’t there yet,” the source adds.

Meanwhile, the latest Instagram post from the star features a video announcing the premiers of his big show The American Idol.
