Fantasia's Teen Daughter Shows off Her Long Braids While Wearing Camouflage Dress in New Videos

Zion Barrino, the daughter of singer Fantasia Barrino, took to Instagram to share some videos rocking a beautiful camo outfit and her long, braided hair.

The first clip portrayed the 17-year-old lady in front of the mirror wearing a gorgeous off-the-shoulder camo dress. The boomerang zoomed in and out, showing in detail her long, red nails and amazing braids.

In the second short video, Zion put on pink glasses and posed in a different way sticking her tongue out and then smiling. For the caption, the girl wrote, “smiling more,” followed by a star emoji.

Soon after posting the boomerangs, Zion’s followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

"Love the hair and you look just like your mom," admitted one viewer.

“Your braids are beautiful love,” pointed out another user.

“You are a very pretty young lady,” added another follower.

Zion’s hairstyle surprised some of her followers as the last few photos the girl uploaded recently showed her as a redhead. However, this color looks beautiful in her, too, and the braids only make it better.

Fantasia welcomed Zion to the world on August 8, 2001, during her relationship with Brandel Shouse. Apart from her, the singer has another son named Dallas Xavier Barrino, whom she shares with ex-partner Antwaun Cook.

Even though Fantasia exudes nothing but confidence nowadays, it has not always been like that for the famous singer. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the singer confessed to being bullied in her teenage years. Trying to “be better,” she started doing everything to get attention.

“When I was a teenager, all the other girls were getting attention, but I had this skinny little body with no shape,” she told Oprah a few years ago. “I thought, ‘Maybe if I show off some leg, the guys will look at me,’ so I tried to get attention with tight little dresses and miniskirts.”

Unfortunately, the singer was raped, dropped out of school, and moved out of her family’s house. Fantasia got pregnant at 17, and many people gave up on her despite all the talent they knew she had.

Confident about her vocals, Fantasia got in the third season of “American Idol” and, against all the odds, she won. From that point on, the R&B singer has had a very successful career in the entertainment industry and has proven everyone that they should never stop believing.
