Prince Harry Surprises Crowd after ‘Dragging’ Pregnant Wife Meghan Markle on Stage at Youth Event
Prince Harry gave a rousing #WeDay speech and then called his lovely pregnant wife up onto the stage.
Prince Harry was present at the WeDay event on March 6, 2019, in Wembley, North London, where he spoke to an audience of over 12,000 students and teachers.
The Duke of Sussex ended his speech to enthusiastic applause, and what he did next delighted the crowd.
“If we look at the world we’re living in, I know it can feel challenging sometimes — but your role is to shine the light.”
AN INSPIRING SPEECH FOLLOWED BY A SWEET SURPRISE
Prince Harry's speech was directed at inspiring young people to take responsibility for their future and to make positive social change a reality in their every day lives.
The audience was swept up by his enthusiasm, and even more excited when he made an unexpected announcement:
“Alright, now I’m going to try to drag my wife on stage!”
The Duchess announced her pregnancy on October 15, 2018, and is expected to give birth sometime in April or May.
THE PRINCE AND THE GLOWING DUCHESS
Duchess Meghan joined Prince Harry onstage, to the audience's patent delight. The Duchess, who is nearing the end of her pregnancy, was glowing, and as beautiful as ever.

The Duchess is known for her dress-sense and elegance and did not disappoint in a Rag & Bone maternity jeans, a matching top, and a navy blazer. Her top was close fitting and showed off her growing baby bump.
A SWEET TRIBUTE TO HIS WIFE
Prince Harry spoke lovingly about his wife, and revealed that she reminds him of his favorite Martin Luther King quote:
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
After the speech, the Prince and his Duchess met several of younger members of the audience backstage for an informal chat.
The Duchess announced her pregnancy on October 15, 2018, and is expected to give birth sometime in April or May.
DUCHESS MEGHAN'S BABY SHOWER IN NEW YORK
The American actress who became a Duchess is now 7 months pregnant, and her friends decided to throw her a baby shower on February 20 at the five-star Mark Hotel penthouse in Manhattan.
The baby shower was organized by Jessica Mulroney, Serena Williams, and her BFF, Genevieve Hillis; and attended by such celebrities as Amal Clooney, Abigail Spencer, and Gayle King.
Duchess Meghan flew back to London on a private jet after the party, and took back lots of presents for the Royal baby to unwrap with Prince Harry.
